"I chose Planned Parenthood as the beneficiary of this collaboration because they provide much needed healthcare to millions upon millions of people in this country - many of which rely on PP as their sole option for healthcare. The current administration is making it harder and harder for Planned Parenthood to keep serving their communities by the institution of "gag rules" - which would make it illegal for healthcare providers to refer their patients for safe abortions & Title X funding - which is a government fund that provides reimbursement to clinics, like Planned Parenthood for health care services rendered to patients in need of financial support (with the exception of abortions which have never been paid for with government money). Planned Parenthood recently withdrew from the Title X program because of the previously mentioned "gag rule". They will NEVER stop offering their patients all of the information they need to make informed decisions about their bodies, their lives and their futures. Planned Parenthood needs our help more than ever as they will never stop serving their communities and providing health care (STD screenings, birth control, cancer screening, family planning services, etc) to those in need."
